5.12 Pipetting of liquid – Pip selection dial setting
5.12.1 Standard pipetting
In the Pipetting (Pip) mode, liquid is aspirated and then dispensed again.
Prerequisites
The pipette is switched on.
The Pipetting (Pip) operating mode has been selected.
The parameters have been set.
The pipette tip has been attached.
1. Press the rocker up to aspirate liquid.
2. Press the rocker down to dispense the liquid.
3. Press the rocker down again to dispense the residual liquid.
This blow-out (Blow) is necessary to completely dispense the liquid.
The number of dispensing steps performed can be counted with a counter
(Counter). The counter (Counter) can be activated in the Option (Opt) mode, if
desired.
1 Aspiration
2 Dispensing
3 Blow-out
Hold the rocker pressed down to trigger dispensing and blow-out (Blow) in a
step.
