Lithium polymer rechargeable battery
Special configuration of a lithium-ion battery. Like rechargeable lithium-ion batteries,
rechargeable lithium-polymer-batteries have a very high charging capacity and a long
service life. The special encapsulation of the lithium polymer rechargeable battery makes
it lighter than rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

Nominal volume
The maximum dispensing volume of a dispensing system specified by the manufacturer.

PCR clean
PCR clean is an Eppendorf AG purity grade for consumables. PCR clean meets the
requirements for standard products, e.g., precision, accuracy, wetting behavior, leak
tightness. PCR clean also meets the requirements with regard to absence of human DNA,
DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors.
Consumables with the PCR clean purity grade are controlled and certified by an external
laboratory.

PhysioCare Concept
®
Products that carry the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept logo feature optimized
ergonomics and make operation as simple as possible, even with complex dispensing
tasks. PhysioCare products can be easily serviced and cleaned. They are made of
extremely light materials and require minimal operating force.

Remaining stroke
Liquid reserve. The liquid which remains after all dispensing steps have been completed.
Reverse stroke
After liquid aspiration, the piston is moved to a defined initial position. Liquid is
dispensed during the piston movement. The reverse stroke is not a dispensing step.

Sterile
Sterile is an Eppendorf AG purity grade for consumables. Sterile meets the requirements
for standard products, e.g., precision, accuracy, wetting behavior, leak tightness. Sterile
also meets the requirements with regard to sterility and freedom from pyrogens.
