2.2.6.1 Pump Mechanism
1. Switching operation from the paper feed mechanism to the pump mechanism
The PF motor also functions as the pump motor by the switching operation of the PF motor drive
disengage mechanism. When the CR unit returns to the home position, the switch lever in the CR
unit pushes the cam lever. Then the disengage gear switches the torque from the ASF to the pump
mechanism via the gear train. Figure 2-11 illustrates how the torque is transmitted from the paper
feed mechanism to the pump mechanism.
