5.3.1. Information in relation to connecting cables
NOTICE
Ì Connection cross-section range: AWG 12 – 30, (single conductor/multiple conductor) (UL).
Ì Only use copper wires (Cu) for 60/75 °C.
Ì It is recommended to use separate power supplies for the safety module and for other electrically
powered devices (electric motors, inverters, frequency converters) or other sources of interfer-
ence.
Ì Cables for connections with a length of more than 50 m must have a cross-section of at least
1mm
2
(AWG16).
