Control Panel Installation FIK-5880 LED I/O Module
4.10.2 FIK-5880 Connection to Panel
The FIK-5880 connects to the panel via the SBUS. Make connections as shown in Figure 4.32. After the FIK-5880 is con-
nected to the panel, it must be added to the System. This programming step is described in Section 4.12.

4.10.3 LED Wiring
There are four, 12-pin connectors located on the FIK-5880 board that are used to connect the LEDs. Each LED gets its power
from Pin 11. The Internal resistors are sized so that there is approximately 10 mA of current for each LED; no series resistors
are required. The LED outputs can be mapped to the output circuits. For programming information, refer to Section 9.
Wire the LEDs as shown in Figure 4.33.
On the Connector P1, Pin 12 is a common open collector output used to controll a PZT. If used, the FIK-5880 PZT will match
the PZT pattern of the on-board or remote annunciator.

NOTE: The circuit connected to the common “Open Collector Output” (the last pin on the P1) must be current-limited, so that no more than
100 mA of the current is allowed to flow into the Open Collector Transistor.
