6.1 Limitation of liability
The manufacturer accepts no liability and no responsibility for the precision,
conclusions, and interpretation of the measurement results. Only continuous
monitoring of the measurement devices by the user can guarantee the contin-
ued precision of measurements. The manufacturer accepts no liability or re-
sponsibility for consequential damage caused by the use of incorrect measured
readings.
6.2 Before you start
The gage is acclimatized, switched on (Taste ), and the batteries are
sufficiently charged for the upcomin
g measurement.
Temperature probe
The gage surface temperature probe is used: the protective cap has
been removed
A magnetic surface temperature probe is used (example): the
temperature probe is connected to the gage
The required batch is opened ( key in the main menu, see also
page 23)
6.3 Measurement - Procedure
Air temperature (Ta), measured permanently
Relative humidity (RH), measured permanently
Surface temperature (Ts)
measured permanently
Measuring with the gage surface
temperature probe: Press the surface
probe on the surface until the value for Ts
hardly changes any more.
Alternatively, you can measure the surface temperature by connecting a
Type K surface probe to the gage.
