8.2 USB data transfer to the Fischer DataCenter
Fischer DataCenter is a software program with following features:
evaluation of measurements
creating inspection reports
archiving of measurements and inspection reports
exporting measured readings in CSV format and inspection reports in pdf
format
8.2.1 Fischer Data Center – program installation
System requirements: Windows 7 or 10
We recommend software version2.6 or higher, free of charge download at
https://docs.helmut-fischer.com/st9
To download/install Fischer DataCenter
1. Click in the Fischer download page on the program download button for
"Software Fischer DataCenter, PC Software for Measurement Data
Handling".
The zip program file will be automatically saved on your PC,
usually in the "Download" folder
.
2. Unzip the zip file.
3. Install the Fischer DataCenter: double click on FischerDataCenter-
Setup.exe.
Follow the installation routine.
8.2.2 USB connection settings
For data transfer via USB interface, in addition to the physical connection be-
tween PC and gage via USB cable, settings of the corresponding transfer pa-
rameters in the gage are also necessary.
Before you start
The Fischer DataCenter program is installed on the PC, see page 42.
An USB cable, e.g. from scope of supply, is ready.
