8.4 Bluetooth data transfer to an Excel file via PC-Datex
PC-Datex is a software program for importing data to the Office program
MS Excel.

Information on how to use the Bluetooth program on your PC can be found
in the corresponding program Operator's Manual (
Bluetooth program).
8.4.1 Bluetooth-gage pairing
For data transfer via Bluetooth settings of the corresponding transfer parame-
ters in the PC-Datex program and in the gage are necessary.
Before you start
MS Excel with the PC-Datex program as an add-in is installed on the PC,
see page 37.
The PC contains a Bluetooth module/port.
The batteries in the gage have sufficient charging capacity.
We recommend replacing the batteries when the battery status dis-
plays are as follows: or . If the battery charge capacity is
too low, you will not be able to perform data transfer settings for
Bluetooth in the gage and data export via Bluetooth.
The desired parameters for the Bluetooth pairing are set in the gage; see
page 58.
