10.4 Visual signal intensity
You can adjust the brightness (luminosity) of the visual signal for measurement
acquisition and specification limit violation.
Navigation
: Selects – parameter/value
: Confirms – selection/setting
:Exits page/menu
: Cancels – leaves page/menu without saving the changes
To set the visual signal luminosity
Main menu ( ) > Gage Settings > OK > Indication Settings > OK >
Optical Indic. Intens. > OK > set desired value > OK
The higher the set value the higher the luminosity.
The setting is finished.
What you can do next
Go to the Measurement view: 2x > , measure, see page 28.
Make further signal settings: >OK.
Make further gage settings: 1x .

10.5 Energy Savings
For the longest possible battery life, the gage offers the following energy saving
features:
Switch off
Automatic switch-off after a preset time period w i t h o u t operation (key
use or measurement acquisition)
Switch off (USB)
Automatic switch-off after a preset time period without data transfer
via USB interface
