5.1 Creating a new batch
Each batch contains settings for the measurement procedure.
The batch settings selection is based on the requirements in a directive/stan-
dard or according to customer specifications.
You can create a batch in two ways:
Create a new batch with factory presettings that you can change as re-
quired, see page 21
Create a new batch by copying an existing batch, see page 22
5.1.1 Creating a new batch
Use the New function to create a new batch with the presettings for unit of mea-
surement and display resolution. You can select these presettings in the Gage
Settings menu, see pages 75.

: Confirms - selection/setting
: Exits - page/menu
To create a new batch
► Main menu ( ) > Batches > OK > New > OK
This completes the creation process for a new batch. The Measurement view of
the newly created batch appears in the display.
