On the feeder • Remove the letter stack from the ramp.
• Press the release button. The roller trans-
port moves upwards.
On the postage meter • Unlock the drawer: Push the drawer latch
lever upwards.
• Pull the drawer to the front, out of the hous-
ing. The flashing LEDs in the letter entrance
area indicate the drawer is missing.
• Place the drawer on an underlay.
Remove jammed letters • Carefully take all letters out of the mailing
system.
• Make sure no shreds of paper or the like
are left in the letter path.
After remedying the letter jam
On the feeder • Press down firmly on the roller transport
until it clicks into place.
