Glossary
Label Special self-adhesive label which you can meter and
stick onto your mail pieces. Necessary for large, heavy
and thick mail pieces. Also use labels to attach on the
mail piece when the envelope material is not suited for
ink-jet printing.
Meter imprint The stamped value of US postage printed.
When metering, PostBase Fusion prints among other
things the indicia, the postage value, the date and the
machine identification on the envelope. Details on the
product (e.g. First-Class) appear below the postage.
Additionally, the meter imprint can contain custom
adverts, i.e. logos or texts, or information as QR codes.
MyFP

MyFP is your gateway to FP products, services and sup-
port for the PostBase range of mailing systems.
On MyFP you can manage your account, mailing sys-
tem, access additional services and order consumable
supplies.
PIN Personal Identification Number.
The PostBase Fusion mailing system can be protected
against unauthorized use via a PIN.
Product Refers to the product or class of service of the USPS,
e.g. First-Class letter.
PSD Postal Security Device.
USPS-approved highly secure component in your
PostBase Fusion that manages the accounting of postal
funds.
