14.12 Auto Postage Download
The ‘Auto Postage Download’ feature facilitates keeping track of the remaining post-
age. When enabled, PostBase One will warn you once the remaining postage
reaches the preset threshold and will give you the opportunity to load postage.
Enable ‘Auto Postage Download’ function
• Open the MENU.
• Choose A
UTO POSTAGE DOWNLOAD.
• Confirm the prompt with C
ONTINUE.
• Enter the desired threshold.
•SAVE the setting shown.
Auto Postage Download is enabled.
PC Software Mode – possible settings and their meaning:

N PostBase One franks only if data exchange
between franking machine and PC is possi-
ble, i.e.
– the PC is connected to the franking
machine ( interface) via USB and
– the FP software (NavigatorBasic / Naviga-
torPlus / MailReport) is connected to the
PostBase One.
All frankings are automatically registered by
the FP software.

FF Franking is possible with and without PC
connection.
Frankings without Navigator / MailReport (so
called Offline Postage) are not registered on
the PC. You can manually book those frank-
ings afterwards with Navigator / MailReport.
