11.3.2 Connection Example and Criteria for Selection of Circuit Breakers
When selecting molded case circuit breaker (MCCB), earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) (with overcurrent
protection function), and magnetic contactor (MC) connection examples based on Fig. 11.3-1, the required rated
current and magnetic contactor types are shown in Table 11.3-1. Table 11.3-2 lists the applicable grades of ELCB
sensitivity current.
If connecting to the inverter to the power supply, insert an MCCB or ELCB (with overcurrent protection)
recommended for each inverter. Do not use an MCCB or ELCB of a higher rating than that recommended.
Failure to observe this could result in fire.
