Overview
Shorting the Scanning Intervals
[Pre-Pick]
In the case of consecutive scanning, you can direct the
scanner to previously pick the document to be scanned next.
This operation is called Pre-Pick.
By enabling "Pre-Pick," the time interval between the scanning
of two separate documents can be shortened.
1 Start up the Software Operation Panel.
Refer to "8.1 Starting Up the Software Operation Panel" (on page
134).
2 From the tree listing on the left, select [Device Setting 2]
D [Pre-Pick].
3 Configure settings for pre-picking.
Select [Yes] to enable Pre-pick, and select [No] to disable it.
While Pre-Pick is enabled, if you cancel the scanning
in process, you will have to eject all the pre-picked
document sheets and reload them.
This setting can also be specified from the scanner
driver’s setting dialog box. Note the setting with the
scanner driver is given a priority.
