XSCF Connection via an XSCF-LAN Port (Recommended)
Establish an XSCF connection via a XSCF-LAN port. The Ethernet connection used
for XSCF connection is shown in
FIGURE 3-1. The XSCF connection to the LAN
utilizes the functions listed below. For the summary of these functions, see
Chapter 1.

■ SNMP agent function
■ Mail notification function
■ Time synchronization with an external NTP server
