ARTDrive V2 series - Instruction Manual Chapter 6 Parameter • 197
REG PARAM / V/f Reg
When the motor is loaded, the mechanical speed changes according to the applied load.
In order to reduce the speed error, it is possible to compensate for the motor slip.
The function parameterization allows:
- to increase the output voltage with low frequencies (voltage Boost)
- to compensate the speed change due to a load increase
- to parameterize a filter on the compensation
- to damp the DC link oscillations.
The V/f mode has no current regulator. A pseudo-regulator changes the output frequency
in order to prevent the current from overcoming the set current limit.
E05 REG PARAM / V/f Reg
E05.00 Voltage boost [%] RWS Calc 0.00/0.00 PV V Easy 3400
Torque boost at low speed. It allows to increase the output voltage at zero Hz.
It is Initialized by autotune procedure.
E05.01 Slip comp [rpm] RWS Calc 0.00/Calc PV V Easy 3531
Compensation of speed drop due to load. Initialized by autotune procedure. In general
parameter must be increased to about 1/3 - 1/2 of rated motor speed. Low values of “Slip
comp” parameter may cause instability.
E05.02 Slip comp filter [sec] RWS 1 Calc/10 PP V Easy 3541
Slip compensation filter.
E05.03 Antioscill gain [%] RWS 0 0/100 PP V Easy 3585
It allows to damp the current oscillations between the motor and the DC link, which could
be developed in the middle range of the rated speed.
E05.04 V/f ILim P gain [rpm_A] RWS Calc Calc/Calc PP V Easy 3520
Proportional gain of the pseudo current loop regulator in V/f mode.
E05.05 V/f ILim I gain [rpm_A] RWS Calc Calc/Calc PP V Easy 3530
Integral gain of the pseudo current loop regulator in V/f mode.
