using the same criteria described above, with a regenerating load
applied. If regenerating load is not available, regen gains can be
tuned during dynamic braking.
7.4 How Perform the Speed Loop in Field Oriented or Sensorless Vect
Speep regulatore autotune
Follow this step to measure the load inertia and to perform the Speed
regulator autotuning, SpdReg autotune. This is available only for Regulation
mode = Field Oriented and Regulation mode = Sensorless vect.
If the load has significant inertia, the speed regulator may need to be tuned.
The Speed regulator autotune requires free rotation of the shaft coupled with
the load. No Stop switch or other control is handled during the test run, which
consists of acceleration under programmable torque limit control. Some
applications, especially those which have constraints to the load travel (eg.
machine tool or material handling drives) may be incompatible with this.
Other applications may be compatible with the test, provided material is not
present in the driven process.
Full Access Level
B STARTUP / B05
Enter the B05.00 - Access Level parameter to [1] Full
Run Speep regulator autotune
E REG PARAM / E00 Spd Reg
Enter the E00.03 - SpdReg autotune parameter: “Waiting start…” message
will be displayed, than press [I] key to run the procedure (12 and 13 drive
terminals must be cycle to +24Vdc).
NOTE! Shaft rotation is activated at this point; procedure can be aborted at
any time by pressing “O” key.
Wait up to “Autotune End” message will be displayed, than press three time
“Escape” key.
NOTE! If the procedure generates any errors, “Autotune err#31: Load
applied” message will be displayed, clear the message using
“Escape” key.
Set Test Torque reference
E REG PARAM / E00 Spd Reg
Enter the E00.02 - Test Torque ref parameter at 50% of its value, than
repeat Speep regulatore autotune procedure as described above.
NOTE! Recycle terminal 12 and 13 through relays or local switch.
