1. Press FNC.
2. Select Offset from the functions menu.
Reset To reset settings to the default values.
Cylinder To enter cylindrical offsets.
Angle To enter angle offsets.
OK To save changes and return to previous
screen.
Field Description
Trav.OFS Perpendicular offset.
Positive if the offset point is to the right of the measured point.
LengthOFS Longitudinal offset.
Positive if the offset point is further away than the measured point.
HeightOFS Height offset.
Positive if the offset point is higher than the measured point.
Mode Period for which the offset is to apply.
Rec/Reset The offset values are reset to 0 after the point is saved.
Permanent The offset values are applied to all further measurements
until the application is quit.

7.2.2 Cylindrical Offset
Determines the coordinates of the centre point of cylindrical objects and their radius. The hori-
zontal angle to points on both the left and right sides of the object are measured, and the dis-
tance to the object as well.
