11.1 System shutdown
When the system is switched from On to Off,
the system is turned off immediately. Patient
monitoring ceases and the control panel shuts
down.
To switch off the system, lift the protective
glass cover and press the Power button.
A 'beep' sound is emitted and the system
shuts down.
As long as the system is connected to the
mains power outlet, the battery is charged.
If battery backup has been used to power the
system at any time before, during, or after a
patient case, it is important to immediately
connect the system to a mains power after
use. Leave it connected until the battery is
fully charged. This will ensure battery
performance and maximize battery life span.
