Outlet Tubing Connection
1 Connect one end of the other piece of cut tubing to the outlet of the flow cell using the fittings supplied with
the flow cell.
a) Insert the fittings (either standard fittings or DYNASEAL connection system fittings) onto the tubing.
b) Screw the fittings into the outlet of the flow cell. Use a wrench to tighten standard fittings. Do not
overtighten.
2 The other end of the tubing can be connected to:
• a back pressure regulator.
• the inlet of the fraction collector in order to collect the column effluent.
Use the appropriate coupler to make the connection. Universal couplers and fittings are included in the
plumbing package.
• a waste container if the column effluent does not need to be saved.
