The following table explains symbols and labels that are used on the detector or in the user’s guide:
The following safety notices may appear in this document:
Prohibited Use
Symbol Meaning
High-voltage hazard.
Electrostatic discharge hazard, damages to system, device, or components can occur.
General warning sign, moderate injuries can occur and damages to system, device, or
components.
UV-light hazard, eye injuries can occur.
Caution, hot surface
Pay attention to the torque for the fitting.
WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in
serious injury
CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in
minor or moderate injury
NOTICE indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in
equipment damage
Explosion hazard if the device is used in potentially explosive atmospheres without
appropriate protective equipment!
