8.1.2. Ethernet Network Problems
I cannot detect the pro-
duct with GTNetworkMa-
nager2 (Gorgy Timing
product detection tool).
Product network cable is discon-
nected
Connect the network cable
Product is in DHCP (by default) but
there is no DHCP server in the
network.
Change computer IP address
to one in Auto-IP range
(169.254.1.1/255.255.0.0) and restart
scan with GTNetworkManager2.
Computer is not in the same sub-
network
Configure the computer to have the
same subnetwork than the product or
use additionnal Unicast range of
GTNetworkManager2.
Firewall, spyware or other security
block GTNetworkManager2
Check with your network adminis-
trator firewall, spyware and network
security to allow GTNetworkMana-
ger2 to send and recieve packets
especially Broadcast ones.
I detect the product but I
cannot access it Web
Page
Product use HTTPS only (so HTTP is
disabled)
Add "https://" before product's IP
address to access product web page.
Computer's proxy does not allow me
to access product webpage
Configure the proxy with help of your
network administrator to exclude
product address range from proxy
settings.
