Reverse Current:
Accumulative
energy.
When the power supply is connected to a load
such as a battery, reverse current may flow
back to the power supply. To prevent damage
to the power supply, use a reverse-current-
protection diode in series between the power
supply and load.
PSW Load
Diode
CAUTION
Ensure the reverse withstand voltage of the diode
is able to withstand 2 times the rated output
voltage of the power supply and the forward
current capacity can withstand 3 to 10 times the
rated output current of the power supply.
Ensure the diode is able to withstand the heat
generated in the following scenarios.
When the diode is used to limit reverse voltage,
remote sensing cannot be used.
