5.10.2 - Using the stove
Never operate the gas stove when the vehicle is running.
The gas stove must never be used as a heater.

With the gas supply open, apply the following procedure to light the stove:
■ Remove ammable materials such as rags, clothing, paper, and plastic items
from the stove area.
■ Fully open the curtains of the window behind the stove.
■ Tie back the curtains (10) using the curtain tiebacks (11).
■ Open the window behind the stove.
Open the window to refresh the air and to evacuate the humidity and
smoke caused by cooking food.
■ Completely raise the protection plate (4).
Never close the protection plate (4) when the stove is lit. The heat
could cause the glass to break.
■ Press the setting button for the desired ame and turn it to the symbol
representing a small ame.
■ Press the piezoelectric lighter button until the stove lights.
■ Adjust the ame to the desired intensity.
Keep children away from the gas stove when it is in use.
Never leave the stove operating unattended.
Ensure the ame does not extend beyond the edge of the pan on
the hob.
To prevent the risk of spillage, never leave the handles of pots or
pans projecting beyond the edge of the gas stove.
Do not leave stains from acidic or alkaline substances (vinegar, salt,
lemon juice, etc.) on the surface of the stove. Clean them o as soon
as the stove is cool.
Apply the following procedure to extinguish the stove
■ Turn the setting button to the "0" position.
■ Wait for the stove to cool, and then put the protection plate (4) down.
Aer using the stove, for additional safety, close the gas inlet using the
gas stopcock (3).
To close the gas stove gas inlet
■ Turn the gas stopcock (3) anticlockwise.
Visual check: when the axis of the gas stopcock (3) is perpendicular to
the axis of the pipe, gas is not supplied to the stove.
