5.3.2 - Bedhead
The headboard is only available for the xed convertible bench on the
4+XL and 5+XL models.

■ Move the mattress (1) and tilt the bedhead (2) to place it in a vertical
position.
■ Reposition the mattress (1).
The bedhead helps to hold the mattress and pillows in place during
use of the bunk.
Before resuming your journey, put the bedhead (2) back in its initial
position, tilted under the mattress (1).
5.3.3 - Sliding convertible bench
If your vehicle is equipped with a sliding bench, check before tilting
it in bunk mode that none of the components will collide with the
vehicle trim. Otherwise, move the bench (see page 93).
Lock the drawers and cupboard to prevent damage when sliding and
tilting the bench seat (see page 83).

1 Rear bench seat
2 Lever
■ Simultaneously tilt the two levers (2) at either end of the seat.
■ Reach both hands behind the seat and the backrest of the rear bench.
■ Simultaneously and symmetrically pull and tilt the seat of the rear bench (1).
It is essential to use both hands to tilt the bench, so that it does not
damage the kitchen unit.
