6.4 - Heating
Only approved, specialist personnel can repair the device.

6.4.1 - Fault diagnosis
The heater control signals faults or defects in the heater or control element by
means of the ashing red light ring on the control knob.

If a fault occurs, the display shows the fault symbol (3).
The light ring ashes red as soon as a fault occurs. It stops ashing as soon as
the error message has been acknowledged by pressing the control knob.
If several faults are present, press the control button to scroll through them.

The fault diagnosis can also be displayed via the "Fault diagnosis" function (2) in
the "Settings" menu (1).
6.4.2 - Error messages
If an error message is displayed on the screen, contact the nearest
authorised dealer.

The heater's power
supply voltage is

Check the battery.
Charge the battery.

Fuel Supply
or Pump
Fault in the fuel supply
or fuel pump.
Check fuel tank lling level.
Check the condition of the fuel line
to the heater.
Remove the electrical plug from the
dosing pump, check for damage.

Air Ducting
or Outlet
Air temperature in
heater too high.
Check the air line.
Check that the air lines are not
blocked, deformed or bent.
Check that all air outlets are free and
not blocked.
Remove the fuse from the heater to
reset the system. See page 130.

Overheat.
Heater locked.
Heater overheating.
Heater is locked for
safety reasons.
