3.15 - Gas
The gas stopcock on the cylinder must be closed during journeys.
Do not modify the gas installation in any way.
The gas cylinder is used exclusively by the gas stove, to heat and cook food.
Gas cylinder
The gas cylinder must be installed in the cupboard provided for
that purpose.

The gas cylinder is installed at the rear le-hand side of the vehicle.
■ Check that the gas cylinder is present.
■ If the cylinder is full, test the operation of the gas stove (see page 128).
■ If the cylinder is empty, replace it.
Replacing the gas cylinder
Use Camping GAZ type 907 butane gas cylinders with safety valve
and pressure regulation valve in compliance with the European
standard (EN 15202).
Gas cylinder replacement must take place in the open air, away
from any source of ignition.
■ Check that the gas stopcock is closed (see page 127).

1 Gas cylinder access door
■ Unlock and push the gas cylinder access door (1) towards the front of the
vehicle.
■ Carefully remove the gas cylinder access door (1).
■ Close the stopcock (5) on the gas cylinder.
■ Remove the gas cylinder securing strap (3).
■ Remove the used gas cylinder (2) from the cupboard.
■ Fully unscrew the safety valve (7).
■ Check the condition of the system components:
– Securing strap (3).
– Regulator (4).
– Stopcock (5).
– Safety valve (7).
– Gas hose (8).
■ Replace them if necessary.
Check the expiry date of the gas hose (8). Replace it before the
deadline.
