■ Take the new gas cylinder and fully screw the safety valve (7) onto it.
■ Test the operation of the gas stove (see page 127).
■ Install the cylinder in the cupboard.
■ Using the securing strap (3), secure the cylinder in the cupboard.
Always make sure the cylinder is securely anchored.
■ Check that the gas hose (8) is properly coiled in the cupboard.
■ Replace the gas cylinder access door (1) in the reverse order of removal.
3.16 - Advice to the driver
■ Check that the swivel seats are locked in the forward-facing position.
■ Adjust the position of the driver's seat.
■ Adjust the headrest and rear-view mirrors according to your height.
■ Check that the pop-up roof is properly closed and locked.
■ If your vehicle is equipped with a sliding bench seat, check that it is properly
locked.
■ Before setting out, walk all around the vehicle to check that there are no
obvious problems.
4 - During the trip
Travelling with peace of mind is the safest way to go.
■ Obey a few simple rules to reach your destination safely.
4.1 - Speed
■ Always adjust the vehicle speed to adapt to your environment.
– Weather and visibility.
– Traic conditions.
– Condition of the road surface.
■ Drive gently and calmly, without hard acceleration or braking, for the sake of
both fuel economy and passenger comfort.
4.2 - Medication / Alcohol / Drugs
Driving under the inuence of drugs or alcohol puts both you and others at very
high risk.
Likewise, certain types of medication can have sedative or behavioural eects.
In addition, a combination of substances (medication, drugs, and alcohol) can
multiply the adverse eects.
■ Never drive if you are in a state of diminished capacity to do so.
4.3 - Telephone
Using a telephone whilst driving greatly increases the risk of an accident.
Therefore, if you are driving:
■ Switch o your telephone or set it to ight mode.
■ Download and use apps that block calls when you are travelling.
■ Ask a passenger to answer your phone if it rings.
■ Stop your vehicle in a safe place to use the phone.
■ Anticipate important calls and make them before you start driving.
