3.12.2 - Batteries
Use only batteries recommended by HANROAD.
Contact HANROAD Customer Service to ask about battery
characteristics.
Never use classic (liquid electrolyte) batteries. A highly explosive
mixture of volatile gases is formed when classic batteries are
charged.
Do not damage the battery. Do not try to open it. This could lead to
a serious, or even fatal, accident.
Do not interchange the engine battery and the cabin battery. The
engine battery is dedicated to the chassis only. It cannot be used as
a cabin battery.

The cabin battery is installed at the rear of the vehicle.
To access it:
Press the upper part of the cover plate (2).
Slide the cover plate (2) upwards.
Pull the cover plate (2) towards you by tilting the lower part.
Replace the cover plate (2) in the reverse order of removal.
The battery charger is located in the second wardrobe cupboard. It operates
fully automatically.
When the vehicle is connected to the 230 VAC system, the cabin battery charge
is maintained.
When the vehicle is running, the engine's alternator charges the engine battery
and the cabin battery.
The cabin battery discharges when consumers such as the refrigerator or lights
in the cabin are operating for a long time.
Aer the vehicle has been out of use for an extended period, the
cabin battery must be charged for at least 12 hours before setting o.
Start the vehicle every 15 days to recharge the cabin battery.
Batteries contain substances that are hazardous to the environment.
They must not be disposed of with household waste, but in accordance
with the regulations in force.
