3.5 Service program: “Service small” and “Service large”
Service small: The service interval refers to the rated output hours – partial load hours are converted into rated
output hours and consist of 2 different functional applications:
Function 1: Pressing button ▼ in “Boiler OFF” mode and disabled power saving function, starts the service
program, the flue gas fan is activated; the safety program for “Open door(s)“ is running (read
instructions on the display). The flue gas fan can run with reduced speed, depending on boiler
type.
Function 2: Reminder function
If the boiler type requires – after a number of operating hours predetermined by the boiler
manufacturer – a “Small service” (e.g. a specific activity is required); however, the hours in
“Service small” can be changed and be adapted to the fuel used (depending on ash amount).
If the system is started right after a “Small service”, button ► may be pressed to not reset the
service interval.
The service interval is reset while ending the service with the button ▼.
Service large: The service interval depends on the boiler operating hours and boiler type.
The manufacturer sets the interval for “Service large” – it can have the value “0”; in this case there
are no scheduled periodic maintenance tasks planned (check boiler operating manual).
Function: Is the service interval elapsed, the required service is displayed.
The time until the next service is displayed in “Service” and in menu “Selection” → “Wood boiler” →
“Information” → “Operations counter”.
Change “Service small” interval:
Service s. in --- h: Current service interval is displayed or can be set (Setting range 10h – 99h).
● press◄, the bar changes to the service interval --- h, change hours (h) with ▲/▼, press ◄,
the set service interval is now active.
● Setting the interval to 0 deactivates the time interval.
Service s. in ---.- h: The remaining time until “Service small”.
Service in ----.- h: The remaining time until “Service large”.
CAUTION:
Do not fire during “Service small/large”.
If the service interval is exceeded for too long, fuel consumption can be increased, causing
damages.
When removing the flue gas fan, disconnect the electric plug, before you remove it.
Wait until the fan comes to a complete stop before removing it (risk of injury).
Do not place the rotor disk onto the floor, and be careful of impacts (precision part).
During assembly mind clean sealing surfaces and completely restore the tightness.
