Note 26.33: Fuel too large or too wet
LambdaControl 1
Note 26.33:
Fuel too large
or too wet
Cause: Fuel
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: Chop fuel
Emergency program: NO
Reset: Press button (refuel)
Error detection: If “Actuator V1” is opened to the maximum up to 15 minutes before or after AFO and afterwards the burning cycle
is > 2h, the note is displayed. Too much fuel or too much moisture in the fuel may be the cause. Is that not the case, call a
technician.
User intervention: Chop the fuel or dry it.
Too much moisture may impact the heating operation. High vapour contents can reduce the combustion temperature
below the ignition temperature and the flame extinguishes. Fouling of boiler and chimney is possible, increased fuel
consumption.
Technician intervention: If the factors listed under “User intervention” do not apply, check the combustion system (air flap
position, state of primary air channels, suction power of flue gas fan, constricted boiler flue gas pipe - pipe to chimney). Check for
tightly closed cleaning hatches.
Note: If you do not want this note to appear entering the Technician password enables you to change the setting in 10.10 Note
26.33 from “YES” to “NO”.
Note 26.34: Fuel too small or too dry
LambdaControl 1
Note 26.34:
Fuel too small
or too dry
Cause: Fuel
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: Mix fuel
Emergency program: NO
Reset: Press button (refuel)
Error detection: If “Actuator V2” is opened ≥ 90% up to 15 minutes before or after AFO and afterwards the burning cycle is > 2h,
the note is displayed. Too little fuel or not enough moisture in the fuel may be the cause. Is that not the case, call a technician.
User intervention: Following the manufacturer’s instruction when firing; then mix the small (dry) fuel with larger (moist) fuel.
If the fuel degasses because of too much surface (small pieces of wood) without enough primary air, the ignition
temperature is too low and the flame extinguishes. Fouling of boiler and chimney is possible; increased fuel consumption.
Technician intervention: If the factors listed under “User intervention” do not apply, check the combustion system (air flap
position, state of secondary air channels, suction power of flue gas fan, constricted boiler flue gas - pipe to chimney). Check for
tightly closed cleaning hatches.
Note: If you do not want this note to appear entering the Technician password enables you to change the setting in 10.11 Note
26.34 from “YES” to “NO”.
Error 26.35: Accumulator sensor F4
LambdaControl 1
Error 26.35
Acc. sensor F4
Cause: Wrong indicated values
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: Limited operation
Emergency program: NO
Reset: Automatically after error correction
Error detection: Controller measures a temperature of >150°C (interruption) or -50°C (short circuit) at sensor input ST8 (KL1 2).
Rectification: Call service technician possible causes:
1. Test are plug ST8 and the 15-pin plug properly connected with the controller and is the sensor connected
correctly? Is that the case, continue with test 2.
2. Test accumulator sensor: Remove plug ST8, check for a resistance of 2155.at plug ST8 (KL1 2) at 20°C and a
resistance of 2770. at 100°C. Is that the case, continue with test 3.
3. Test wiring harness: Remove the 15-pin plug from the controller, check for a resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug
(KL13) and plug ST8 (KL2); check for a resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug (KL15) and plug ST8 (KL1). Is that not the
case, the system has a wiring error or the controller is defective.
Experience shows that the controller is usually only defective, if faulty wiring or spurious actions damaged the applicable
input/output.
Controller function: Combustion is carried out without BSB.
