Possible settings: “NO” / “YES”.
NO: The function “Service small” is deactivated.
YES: The function “Service small” is activated (see chapter 3.5).
4.3 Chimney sweep test
This submenu is only displayed in operating status “Boiler ON”.
The test is selected via “Select” → “Wood Boiler” → “Chimney sweep” →…(particular test step) and comprises three test
steps: “Rated Power” / “Smallest output” / “Safety test”. The test steps “Rated power” and “Smallest output” are only
present and are only selectable, if function AFO (see chapter 1.4) is completed.

STB-test and test of
thermal safety
device
Setting: Select Safety test
During the test the ▲ button needs to be held pressed or at least be pressed
a every 30 seconds. The timer status is displayed.
Function: ● Controller switches to PK
N
Type until STB triggers.
● Primary pump M1 OFF / Return valve Y1 CLOSED.
● If the boiler temperature rises above 97.5°C ± 2.5K, STB must trigger and
deactivate the fan.
At the same time the display shows “Error 26.08 STB triggered”. If STB triggered,
the STB test was completed successfully.
● If the button ▲ is still pressed after triggering STB, the primary pump M1
remains OFF up to 110°C and Y1 remains closed to test the thermal safety
s device.
The thermal safety device must now be able to keep the boiler temperature
below 110°. Is that the case, the test of the thermal safety device is completed
m successfully.
Automatic test interruption, if:
● Boiler temp. ≥ 110°C
● 30sec timer elapsed
● Test duration exceeded 30 minutes.
Function after test cancellation: Fan OFF, M1 ON, Y1 OPEN.
Reset STB: Unscrew STB cap, press STB reset button, if the temperature dropped below 86°C.
After a successful STB test, be boiler must be switched ON by pressing the ► button.
