LambdaControl 1
Error 26.37
BSB-F5(1-4)
Cause: Wrong indicated values
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: Limited operation
Emergency program: NO
Reset: Automatically after error correction
Error detection: Controller measures a temperature of ≥150°C (interruption) or ≤ -50°C (short circuit) at sensor input ST8 (KL3
and 5). The sensor input expects a total resistance of “one” PT2000 sensor. This could be generated from eight PT1000 sensors in
parallel and serial setup.
Check the electrical diagram for a correct connection of the sensors F5-1 to F5-4.
Rectification: Call service technician – possible causes:
1. Test – are plug ST8 and the 15-pin plug properly connected with the controller and is the sensor connected correctly? Is
that the case, continue with test 2.
2. Test – flue gas temperature sensor: Remove plug ST8. Check for a resistance of 2155.9Ω at plug ST8 (KL3 and 5) at 20°C
and a resistance of 2770.1Ω at 100°C. Is that the case, continue with test 3.
3. Test – wiring harness: Remove the 15-pin plug from the controller. Check for a resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug
(KL14) and plug ST8 (KL5); check for a resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug (KL15) and plug ST8 (KL3). Is that not the
case, the system has a wiring error or the controller is defective.
Experience shows that the controller is usually only defective, if faulty wiring or spurious actions damaged the applicable
input/output.
Controller function: There is no fuel amount and heating date calculation.
Note 26.38: Boiler manual OFF
LambdaControl 1
Note 26.38:
Boiler manual OFF
Cause: In “Boiler ON” mode button ▼ was pressed 2 x = Safety deactivation
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: Switch on with button ▲/▼
Emergency program: NO
Reset: By pressing the button ▲ / ▼ — as long as the note is displayed.
Afterwards: Press the button ► (refuel)
Controller function: The flue gas fan is switched off, V1 is at 0% and V2 is set to scavenging air, until the flue gas temperature is
< 25% of the operating flue gas temperature.
Note: Deactivation may be required for safety reasons, e.g. no water in heating system (check chapter 3.4).
Note 26.47: Pellet/Oil/Gas boiler - Residual heat use
LambdaControl 1
Note 26.47:
Pellet/Oil/Gas
Residual heat use
Cause: The Pellet/Oil/Gas boiler was switched off during operation
Display 4 amber: does not illuminate
Information text: -
Emergency program: Not required
Reset: Automatically after residual heat use
This note depends on the system and is solely for information purposes, that the safety requirement (TÜV) against a
possible overheating and damaging the system is activated.
Controller function: After residual heat use – runtime approx. 4 minutes – wood boiler operation is activated automatically.
Error 26.53: Outside sensor from BUS
LambdaControl 1
Error 26.53
Outside sensor
from Bus
Cause: Bus-Communication, Different number of outside sensor
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: -
Emergency program: YES
Reset: Automatically after error correction
Cause of error: There is a wrong outside sensor No. set in the Lambda-Control 1
plus
. Are both CAN-bus plugs properly pressed on
to the CAN-bus cable?
Rectification: Call service technician – possible causes:
1. Test – is the correct outside sensor number set in the controller Lambda-Control 1
plus
? Is that the case, continue with
test 2.
2. Test – CAN-Bus cable: Are both CAN-bus plugs properly pressed on to the CAN-bus cable and is the cable properly
connected to the CAN bus terminal ( check the correct pin assignment)?
Experience shows that the controller is usually only defective, if faulty wiring or spurious actions damaged the applicable
input/output.
Controller function: Logotherm controlled heating circuits work with the outside temperature measured on the last failure-free
day.
