The whole system is regulated to the anti-freeze temperature (Logotherm controlled heating
circuits to anti-freeze, hot water to standard anti-freeze).
Either Anti-freeze, Holiday or reduced has to be chosen as setting while in operation mode
“Boiler OFF” — this should be done before firing — this way the fuel amount is calculated
without heating demand.
9.3 Summer operation
Function for Logotherm controlled heating circuit:
Is summer operation selected, the heating circuits are regulated to Anti-freeze.
Function for Logotherm controlled hot water:
The summer operation is overlaid with the selected operation mode; i.e.: If the operation
mode is “ON” and the summer operation is set (from, e.g., 03.01 to 10.01), you receive the
following HW charging: In the set time from 1

October the HW tank is only
charged up to HW min + 2K. Is the temperature lower than the in 12.04 HW min. set value, it
is charged again to HW min + 2K. Outside this time, the HW tank is charged to the 12.03 HW
max. value, if the temperature is lower than the value set in 12.04 HW min.
If a “Lock time HW min.” is set in addition to the summer operation, you receive the following
HW charging: In the set time from 1st March to 1st October the HW tank is only charged to
HW min + 2K. During the lock time it is only heated to HW min. +2K; i.e. 12.07 Lock time from
8:00 – to 18:00. Outside the set lock time, in “Winter operation”, the hot water is heated to
the in 12.03 HW max. set temperature.
Function for Logotherm controlled E-load circuit:
The summer operation is overlaid with the selected operation mode; i.e.: If the operation
mode is set on “ON” and the summer operation is set (from, e.g., 03.01 to 10.01), you receive
the following E-circuit charge: In the set time from 1st March to 1st October the HW
tank/accumulator is charged only to E min + 1K. If the temperature falls under the in 18.03 E
min. set value, it is charged again to E min + 1K. Outside this time the HW tank/accumulator is
heated up to the in 18.04 E max. Set value, if the temperature falls under 18.03 E min.
Use: This setting prevents that the hot-water tank is charged to HW max. by a – Logotherm regulated –
heat generator, in order to supply enough storage capacity for the solar system. Thereby it can be
used more efficiently.
