Error 26.15: O
2
Sensor
LambdaControl 1
Error 26.15
O
2
Sensor
Cause: Sensor heating intermittently faulty
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: Limited operation
Emergency program: Controller works only with auxiliary air
Reset: Automatically after error correction and calibration of O
2
sensor
Error may occur in the following operating status: In “Boiler ON and during calibration.
Error detection: At deactivated heating voltage (12V~) the controller checks the internal resistance of the O
2
-measuring element. If
it is <1000Ω for 15 minutes, the error message is displayed. Beside a defective O
2
sensor (internal short circuit, moisture, metal dust,
etc.), the cause can also be an intermittently defective heating voltage relay (12V~) in the controller.
Rectification: Call service technician possible causes:
1. Test Heater voltage: Check voltage at plug ST1 (KL3 4) 12V~; it must not be detected. The test must be carried out
while the wood boiler is switched off and the flue gas temperature is less than boiler temperature + 10K. This way the
controller switches off the O
2
sensor heating. Tip: If the flue gas temperature is too high, remove the flue gas sensor from the
flue gas pipe. If the 12V can still be detected at the cooled off flue gas sensor in Boiler OFF”, the controller requires
replacement.
Controller function: Limited operation with auxiliary air V1-V2. The boiler is deactivated with the function TAG deactivation
independent from the setting 5.14 Switch-off with “O
2
or “TAG”.
Note: Fouling of boiler and chimney is possible. With a defective flue gas sensor at the same time, the controller switches OFF
the boiler automatically after 24 hours, or it may be switched off manually (press twice).
Error 26.17: O

Sensor
LambdaControl 1
Error 26.17
O
2
Sensor
Cause: Error during calibration (measurement value jump drop-out)
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: Limited operation
Emergency program: Controller works only with auxiliary air
Reset: Automatically after error correction and calibration of O
2
sensor.
Error may occur in the following operating status: Only during calibration.
Error detection: The AC signal from the O
2
sensor shows a deviation of >1mV between values (1sec).
Rectification: Call service technician possible causes:
1. Test Are plug ST1, the 5-pin and the 15-pin plugs properly connected with the controller? Is that the case, continue with
test 2.
2. Test wiring harness: Remove the 15-pin plug from the controller. Check for a resistance of < between the 15-pin plug
(KL4) and plug ST1 (KL2); check for a resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug (KL5) and plug ST1 (KL1). Is that not the case,
the system has a wiring error. Is that the case, continue with test 3.
3. Test O
2
sensors: Replace O
2
sensor for testing and calibration. If the error is not rectified, the controller requires
replacement.
Experience shows that the controller is usually only defective, if faulty wiring or spurious actions damaged the applicable
input/output.
Controller function: Limited operation with auxiliary air V1-V2. The boiler is deactivated with the function TAG deactivation
independent of setting 5.14 Switch-off with “O2” or “TAG.
Note: Fouling of boiler and chimney is possible. With a defective flue gas sensor at the same time, the controller switches OFF
the boiler automatically after 24 hours, or it may be switched off manually (press twice).
