4.4.1 Manual calibration
In case of daily heating there is no automatic calibration. Operation hours since the last calibration are displayed in the
submenu “Operations counter” (chapter 4.1.2). Manual calibration is required after 1500 or more operating hours.
Please note:
Manual calibration is required in case of a new controller or O
2
sensor.
Repeat the calibration process in case of an O
2
-error during calibration ― this may be required at
very cold ambient temperatures.
Prerequisites for manual calibration:
The boiler must be in operation mode “Boiler OFF”, no residual coal must be present.
The boiler doors must be closed.
Before the calibration process begins the controller checks the flue gas temperature. If it is too high, the notes
“Calibration not possible” and “Flue gas temp. too high” display. If the flue gas temperature drops below the required
value, calibration starts automatically. Calibration may be cancelled by pressing the ► button. Calibration takes 30
minutes. After completing the process either “Sensor OK” or “Sensor defective” displays.
4.4.2 Automatic calibration
Calibration starts automatically, if more than 200 operating hours have elapsed since the last calibration and the boiler
has not been operating for the last 48 hours. A note only appears, if the O
2
sensor is defective.
