Error 26.23: Return sensor
LambdaControl 1
Error 26.23
Return sensor
Cause: Wrong indicated values
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: Limited operation
Emergency program: YES
Reset: Automatically after error correction
Error detection: Controller measures a temperature of >150°C (interruption) or ≤-50°C (short circuit) at sensor input ST5 (KL1-2).
Rectification: Call service technician – possible causes:
1. Test – are plug ST5 and the 15-pin plug properly connected with the controller and is the sensor connected correctly? Is
that the case, continue with test 2.
2. Test – return temperature sensor: Remove plug ST5. Check for a resistance of 2155.9Ω at plug ST5 (KL1 – 2) at 20°C
and a resistance of 2770.1Ω at 100°C. Is that the case, continue with test 3.
3. Test – wiring harness: Remove the 15-pin plug from the controller. Check for a resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug
(KL11) and plug ST5 (KL2); check for a resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug (KL15) and plug ST5 (KL1). Is that not the
case, the system has a wiring error or the controller is defective.
Experience shows that the controller is usually only defective, if faulty wiring or spurious actions damaged the applicable
input/output.
Controller function: Load valve Y2 = 100% / return valve Y1 = 75%. If the boiler temperature exceeds the required boiler
temperature, Y1 is opened to 100%.
Note: Rectify error immediately: Boiler perforation from corrosion possible.
Error 26.24: Date – Time not set
LambdaControl 1
Error 26.24
Date - Time
not set
Cause: Power failure > 5h
Display 4 amber: illuminates
Information text: Limited operation
Emergency program: YES
Reset: Automatically after setting date/time
Error detection: If the power of the internal storage capacitor is used up after a power failure (>5 hours), time and date cannot be
kept in the system. The CPU is restarted automatically once the power is restored. Without a DCF77-Receiver, date and time must
be set again manually.
After a restart of the CPU date and time must be set again as well. That could be caused by:
a) a computer unit error (rectified by CPU)
b) a strong electromagnetic impact on the wires connected to the controller and increasingly occurs if there is a bad
system grounding (PE).
Controller function if time not set: The fuel calculation is conducted without heating demand for free loading capacity.
Error 26.25: DCF77-Receiver No reception
LambdaControl 1
Error 26.25
DCF77-Receiver
No reception
Causes: Error in DCF77-Receiver or wiring error

Emergency program: NO
Reset: Automatically after synchronization
Error detection: If no synchronization has been carried out for 7 days.
Rectification: Call service technician – possible causes:
1. Test – Are plug ST4 and the 15-pin plug properly connected with the controller? Is that the case, continue with test 2.
2. Test – wiring harness: Remove the 15-pin plug from the controller. Check for a resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug
(KL1) and plug ST4 (KL1); check for a resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug (KL2) and plug ST4 (KL2); check for a
resistance of <1Ω between the 15-pin plug (KL3) and plug ST4 (KL3). Is that not the case, the system has a wiring error or the
controller is defective. In case of a wiring error or defective controller, continue with test 3.
3. Test – Power supply for DCF77-Receiver: Remove plug ST4. Measure a voltage of 5V at ST4 between terminal (KL) 1 and 3.
Is that not the case, the controller is defective. If voltage applies, continue with test 4.
4. Test – Connecting lead from plug ST4 to DCF77-Receiver: Check wires individually for continuity and short circuits against
each other. If the cable is OK, replace the DCF77-Receiver for testing purposes. Reception can be checked with the
controller (see chapter 7.1). If there is no reception, replace the controller for test purposes. Reception is usually better at
night than during the day – situational reception may not be available.
Experience shows that the controller is usually only defective, if the applicable input/output was damaged by faulty wiring
or spurious actions.
Controller function: System works without any limitations.
Note: Check date and time. To suppress the error in the short-term, set 15.01 DCF77-Receiver to “NO”.
