Chapter 2: Label Design
Simply choose your font style and point size here. This will save it to the tagprint.ini file. Once you change it, the
default text size will always start at what you set here. The same will apply for the human readable text in barcodes.
Undo
Undo is a feature that restores the last change you made (like a move or a deletion of an object). Undo has only one
level, so you can restore only the very last change you made.
Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + Z.
Cut
You can “cut” all the selected items off the page by using this command. Cut will store the item(s) you selected to
the clipboard until you use the paste command to place the item(s) back on the label design. Be careful not to cut
twice before pasting, or the first item(s) will be lost. You may also use Cut to delete unwanted items off your label
design. Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + X.
Copy
Copy functions much like the cut command except it does not remove the item from the label design. Instead, it
leaves an exact copy in the clipboard. You can use the paste command to add the copy to the label design.
Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + C.
Paste
The paste function takes whatever is on the clipboard at the moment and places it on your label design. You may use
the paste command as many times as you want as long as another item is not cut or copied to the clipboard.
Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + V.
Delete
The delete command will remove any selected items from the label design. The delete command will NOT place the
object to the clipboard. If you accidentally delete an item, you may use the undo command to restore the item.
Keyboard Shortcut: Delete.
Select All
The select all command will activate all the objects on your label design. You must choose this option from the Edit
menu.
Duplicate
This command creates a duplicate of the selected objects. The new objects are located immediately below or to the
right of the originals, depending on which icon you select. When the duplicate command is activated, the new
objects will be selected, therefore you can execute this command several times in a row. Duplicating a table text
object will duplicate the next column from the table.
