The effects of electromagnetic interference such as noise from an
external source may cause communications errors when using a
USB connection. If you encounter such errors, attach a commer
-
cially available ferrite clamp to the USB cable
as shown in the fig-
ure below. The effectiveness of the clamp can be increased as
fol
lows:
• Place the clamp as close to th
e com
puter-side connector as pos-
sible.
• Loop the cable through the clamp several times.
Ferrite core
Position as close to the
computer as possible.
