If the cause of the issue remains unclear, reset the system. Doing so will initialize
settings to their factory defaults.

or 60 Hz?
The instrument does not

The instrument can only be used with
50/60 Hz lines. Lines operating at 400
Hz cannot be measured.
If the wiring setting is
1P2W/1P3W/3P3W/
3P4W, is voltage input
being supplied?
The instrument may not be
able to pe
rform stable
measurement without volt-
age input.
If not measuring voltage, select the
current-only wiring and set the fre-
quency setting to the measurement
line fr
eque
ncy (50/60 Hz).

ture range of 10°C to 40°C.

Has the instrument been
stored for an extended
period of time with the bat-
tery pack installed?
The battery pack may have
degraded, signaling that it needs to
be replaced. Please purchase a new
battery pack. Contact your Hioki dis-
tributor for more information. If the
instrumen
t will not b
e used for one
month or longer, remove the battery
pack and store at -20°C to 30°C.

The battery pack
can only be used
for a short period
of time.
