Select whether to use THD-F or THD-R method to calculated total harmonic distortion. The selected cal-
culation method is applicable to both harmonic voltage and current.
4.4.5 Selecting the THD Calculation Method
THD-F
The percentage of total harmonics relative to the fundamental waveform
This setting is generally used in testing that conforms to IEC and other standards. (Default
setting)
THD-R
The percentage of total harmonics relative to the sum of the total harmonics and the funda-
mental waveform
This setting will yield a lower value than THD-F for highly distorted waveforms.
