Before using the instrument the first time, verify that it operates normally to ensure that the no damage
occurred during storage or shipping. If you find any damage, contact your authorized Hioki distributor or
reseller.

Inspect the voltage measurement cables
Does any cable insulation appear damaged,
or is bare metal exposed?
Does the self-test (model and version) display
appear?
(The version number may be changed to the latest
version number.)
The power cord may be disconnected,
or the instrument may have internal
damage.
Please contact your authorized Hioki
distributor or reseller.
When the self-test finishes, does the [Wiring] page
of the Setting or Measurement screen appear
(according to when the instrument was last turned 
off).
