Displaying Error Logs
You can view a count of errors and other anomalous events (resets, timeouts,
overruns, and mismatches) logged by the dome.
To display the error logs:
• Select 4 Diagnostic Options
4 Operational Diagnostics 1 Display
Error Logs.
Clearing Error Logs
You can reset all counts in the error log table to zero.
To clear the error logs:
• Select 4 Diagnostic Options
4 Operational Diagnostics 2 Clear
Error Logs.
Running Diagnostics
You can find out if the dome can "find home" or whether there is a pan or tilt
homing error. You can also find out if the power being supplied to the dome is
adequate.
To find home:
• Select 4 Diagnostic Options
4 Operational Diagnostics 3 Run
Diagnostics
1 Find Home.
The dome will begin "finding home." Once the "home" (index) position is
found, the message "
Home Found . . ." appears.
To check the supply voltage:
• Select 4 Diagnostic Options
4 Operational Diagnostics 3 Run
Diagnostics
2 Check Supply Voltage.
The status of each power supply (3.3 V for the printed circuit boards, 15 V
for the camera) will show as PASS or FAIL.
Displaying Firmware Details
You can view the details of the firmware currently installed on the dome.
To display the firmware information:
1. Enter preset 75 on your controller.
2. Enter the password (default = 1000).
3. In the Administrator Setup menu, select 5 Firmware Info.
