About ACUIX PTZ Dome Manual Exposure Control
ACUIX PTZ Dome: 18× and 26× Camera Blocks
The manual exposure control for the ACUIX 18× and 26× cameras is a true
manual exposure control.
For decreasing light conditions the manual exposure control operates in the
following sequence:
1. Increase shutter time until it reaches 1/60 s for NTSC cameras OR 1/50 s for
PAL cameras.
2. Open the lens iris until it reaches the maximum aperture size (minimum
f-number).
3. Increase video gain until it reaches maximum gain.
4. Increase shutter time until it reaches 1.0 s.
For increasing light conditions the manual exposure control operates in the
following sequence:
1. Decrease shutter time until it reaches 1/60 s for NTSC cameras OR 1/50 s
for PAL cameras.
1. Decrease video gain until it reaches minimum gain.
2. Close the lens iris until it reaches the minimum aperture size (maximum
f-number).
