Installing Dome Firmware
Before You Begin
To update the firmware of your ACUIX Analog High-Speed PTZ Dome, you will
need the following:
• a computer running Windows XP Professional, Windows Server 2003, Windows
Vista (32 or 64 bit), or Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit)
• an Ethernet crossover cable
• ACUIX Analog Firmware Downloader (version 1.3) installed on your computer*
•the firmware combo file (for example,
ACUIX_ScanFW_v3.7_v10.4.acu
) saved to
your desktop*
* The firmware downloader wizard and firmware file are available for download from
www.honeywellvideo.com
You may also need a No. 1 Phillips screwdriver (for use with pendant-type
housings) or a 5/32-inch tamper-proof Allen key (for use with rugged-type
housings).
Updating Firmware Using the Downloader
Configure the Dome for a Network Connection
1. Open the Downloader.
