Ensure that the encoder strip is oriented
with the transparent area up, and with
three holes on the left side and one hole
on the right side.
Thread the strip through the apertures
in the cartridgeĆcarriage assembly.
With washer and nut, secure the encoder
strip to the service station.
Press the forward end of the encoder
springĆbracket slightly inward and place
the encoder strip between the tabs and
over the threaded post on the encoder
springĆbracket.
