Configuring the management interface
The management interface (eth2) associated with each storage controller requires a specified static or
DHCP provided IP address, netmask and default gateway. Each storage controller can have only one
default gateway, and both storage controllers must use the same network settings, including subnet
mask, default gateway, and routing tables.
NOTE:
Fibre channel StoreVirtual 3200 Storage systems do not require configuration of a data interface.
Procedure
1. Using a web browser on an administrative computer, connect to the SVMC, using the IP address or
hostname previously configured for the system.
2. On the StoreVirtual menu, select Storage Controllers.
3. Select one of the storage controllers from the list on the left.
4. In the right pane, select Network from the drop-down menu next to the storage controller name. The
right pane displays controller module information, including the MGMT IP Address and the bond0 IP
Address.

5. For future reference, record the IP addresses for each storage controller.
