5. Insert centering screws in each of the vertical posts (two screws on each of the
rear rails) and finger-tighten. The screws occupy the following rack locations (
in Figure 6-13):
• Bottom hole in the second 1U space
• Top hole in the third 1U space
6. From the front of the rack, visually verify that the rail is aligned properly with
the rack.
7. Repeat this procedure for the other rail.
8. Tighten the screws to finish installing the rails.
Installing the Rack Ear Mounting Brackets
Rack ear mounting brackets are installed on the front of the library to retain the
library on the rack shelves. The two mounting brackets are identical and can be
attached to either side of the library.
