Important: To completely remove all power before servicing or in an emergency,
toggle the power switch on each power supply to the OFF (O) position,
and disconnect all power cords from their electrical source.
Powering Down
1. Ensure that no applications are accessing the library. If an event is in progress,
wait until the operation completes.
2. Take the library offline. See “Taking the Library Offline/Online” on page 7-23.
3. From the top menu, press the Down button to select Logout, and press Enter.
4. Toggle the power switch on each power supply to the OFF (O) position to shut
down the library.
5. Disconnect the library’s power cords from their electrical source.
Restarting
1. Connect all power cords to their electrical source.
2. Toggle the power switch on each power supply to the ON (|) position to restart
the library.
3. When the library is fully initialized, the login screen displays on the Operator
Panel.
4. Ensure that no applications are accessing the library. If an event is in progress,
wait until the operation completes.
5. Take the library offline.
6. From the top menu, press the Down button to select Commands, and press Enter.
7. Press the Down button to select Reboot, and press Enter.
8. Select to take the library Online or Offline when rebooting finishes.
